About Us
Bright Future & Welfare Organization (BFWO) is a non-government (NGO), not-for-profit (NPO), independent, civil society organization (CSO) founded by a group of dedicated public health, curative medicine, education, and management experts. It is registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under license number 5379, dated January 11, 2022, which will follow the law of NGOs, other applicable laws of the country, the approved Article of Association (AoA), and donors’ guidelines.
BFWO is an Afghan NGO that operates in the health and education sectors to serve community health promotion, managing and responding to the emerging health crises, public health safety, literacy, and education across Afghanistan. The NGO also works for the development and relief of marginalized communities to achieve social and economic prosperity and improve humanitarian and social capital through delivering health & social, educational & livelihood services, especially to the vulnerable and marginalized societies and communities of Afghanistan.
BFWO firstly initiated its primary activities in early 2019 (which was not officially registered), assisting the neediest people in Kabul, Kandahar, Badakhshan, and Helmand provinces. The NGO was holding eye camps in which the listed patients were receiving free eye health care and related services; including eye operations. Throughout the years of hard work, BFWO slowly developed and now has been registered with the government of Afghanistan as an NGO.

To get to our objectives we work closely with our local NGOs, government key ministries (MoHE, MoPH, MoE, MoEc), and the international donors (UNICEF, WFP, WHO, UNODC, UNAMA) and others...
OUR PROGRAM
We BFWO’s focus area is to provide quality health and education related-services for the marginalized and vulnerable people in Afghanistan. In the health sector, the NGO’s areas of concern are medical camping, medical consultations, advocacy, vaccination, mother and childcare, nutrition, public health, psychosocial, mobile health teams, family planning, epidemic and pandemic, infectious diseases, hygiene, narcotics & drugs addiction and public awareness.
In the field of education, the NGO’s area of concern is vocational training, workshops, short courses, public awareness, literacy, professional training, seminars, developing content and material for educational programs, curriculum development, training design, career development training, capacity building, teacher training, ERP implementation, system design, workflow development, process simplification, and skills development.
