BFWO provided quality health and nutrition services in Aalam Kach and Mohammadi villages and has covered over 120 patients.
Alam Kach and Mohammadi villages are located in the northwest of Hesarak district of Nangarhar province.
In addition to the lack of agricultural land, the cold and rainy climate, these two villages are facing problems such as lack of access to the health services and drinking water, distance from the center of the city, and poor economic conditions. Majority of the residents of these villages suffer from diarrhea, malnutrition, stomach problems, and skin diseases.
BFWO’s MHNTs are pushing their limits to provide health services such as administering the necessary vaccinations, prenatal and postnatal care, addressing acute cases of malnutrition and educating the important aspects of better nutrition for the residents of these villages.
